Firefighting robots real combat in a warehourse in Hangzhou

 

At about 7:10 on February 7, a warehouse in Hangzhou caught fire. The Hangzhou Fire Rescue Detachment immediately launched on-site reconnaissance and found that the fire had a clear trend of spreading, and a gas station was just a wall away.

 

Due to the large span of the warehouse on fire and the intense internal combustion, Hangzhou Fire immediately dispatched two fire robots from Yuhang Brigade (produced by CITIC) to enter the fire area to conduct reconnaissance and fire extinguishing on the interior, which did not meet the conditions for firefighters to attack and extinguish the fire.

 

 

“The robot carries two water hoses and can enter the warehouse to extinguish the fire. The sensors at the head can immediately send back internal images, as well as important data such as temperature, toxic gas content, oxygen content, etc. of the fire site, providing first-hand information for the rear command center to study and judge the fire situation, "praised the firefighter in charge.

 

 

After nearly 12 hours of intense rescue efforts by firefighters and robots, the fire was successfully extinguished and there were no casualties on site. Fire robots have once again demonstrated reliable and superior product performance through practical combat.

 

At present, CITIC has developed more than 30 fire robot series products, widely installed in the national fire protection system and large hazardous chemical enterprises, to replace fire rescue personnel in dangerous environments and special scenarios where "people cannot approach, reach, or act" to carry out firefighting and rescue tasks. While ensuring the safety of firefighters, it greatly improves the efficiency of firefighting and rescue.
